President - Wanda Osborn, has sung with us for 2 years. She has enjoyed singing since childhood. Formerly a church choir director for 21 years, she comes to us as a Systems Analyst/Project Manager with extensive technology experience. Presently employed by Wachovia Insurance Services, she has in the past served in many leadership roles both in business and community. We thank her for her vision, creation of our new web site(www.brcsings.com) and continuing work to raise community awareness of our chorle.

Treasurer - James Suddreth, has sung with the choir for 2 years, he brings leadership and organizational skills to the choir. James is a retired educator and presently holds a leadership position on his church council.

Production Chairman - Joe Eaton, has 21 years of experience in leadership at the Little League level, and is presently coaching in baseball and assistant coaching in soccer, basketball, and helping in Cub Scouts. He is presently on the Board of Little League Baseball. He is employed in Fauquier Water Treatment Plant as a repairman. He is a very dedicated singer, and offers much to the Board in his solid decisions and committed faithfulness. He has lived in Culpeper for years, his family having been in the ministry. He is a very committed family man, though unmarried, and helps raise his nieces and nephews and cares for his ailing parents.

Fundraising Chairman - Dana Peebles, has sung with the choir for just two seasons. Dana Peebles is a Nurse Technician at Consulate Health Care in Woodstock, Virginia. Dana was born in Charlottesville, Virginia on December 23rd, 1977. She moved to Page County in 1999, and currently resides in Luray. Dana has been singing since she was 2 yrs. old, and music has been a daily part of her life. She sung in church and school choirs and then during high-school was a member of the Women’s Chorus, and Varsity Singers. She has competed in many competitions including The Virginia Music Education Association, All-District Chorus Festival, and JMU N.A.T.S. (National Association of Teachers Society). After high-school Dana continued her passion for music through voice lessons and studied Music with specialty in Opera in Keswick, VA at Virginia Erwin’s Studio of Voice. Through her first few years of college at P.V.C.C. (Piedmont Virginia Community College) Dana participated in many plays, musicals, and theater productions including Ashland Opera, Carrysbrook, Kappa Sigma and Charlottesville Performing Arts. As busy as she was, Dana still managed to find time for a small band “Eagles In Flight” which performed alternative Christian Rock and focused upon Prison Ministry all the songs were original and were written by herself and the 4 other band members. In addition to singing and her love and passion for music, Dana enjoys helping others, spending time with her animals (4 dogs Baylee, Buckwheat, Pixie and Lucy Bell; 4 cats Sheba, Farley, Paydrowe, and Simon; and 3 fish Sparkle, Glitter, and Copper), writing, drawing, and gardening.

Programs Chairman - Renate Chapman, has a MA in linguistics from Germany. She was an interpreter in Frankfurt before coming to America to marry her American sweetheart. She also has a gift of Graphic Designing that bursts forth when it is time to create the programs and flyers. Offering much to the choir in written documents, she had been a paralegal in MD and DC before retiring. Renate is on the Board of Child Care and Learning Center in Rappahannock County, and on the Finance Committee of her church.

Publicity Chairman - Mary Dale, Mary retired to Culpeper with her husband six years ago, from New Jersey, where she sang in her church choir, and with the Pro Arte Chorale, in New Jersey and New York. A former school music teacher, she also plays piano, and is currently the rehearsal accompanist for the Youth Choir. She joined BRC last year as a soprano.

Corresponding Secretary - Faye Payne, has sung with the Chorale for 2 years. I enjoyed singing with my school choir, with our previous church, and now with Oak Shade United Methodist church in Rixeyville. I retired from Loudoun County schools 3 years ago and my husband Wayne and I moved to Culpeper to be closer to our daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandsons.

Social Chairman - Wayne Payne, has sung with the Chorale for 2 years also. With his beautiful bass voice he has sung for many weddings, funerals, and special church services along with several choral groups through the years. He retired 3 years ago from selling Kubota tractors in Purcellville and is enjoying hunting and fishing with the grandsons.

Librarian - This is an open position on the board, Diana Cmeyla is graciously filling this position until a permanent worker can be recruited.
